This pair of forks is not original to this frame. All Automotos from the 20s/30s period had forks with a tubular crown similar to the old Raliegh one. In ea ch end of the tube an enamelled plate bearing the Automoto trefoil logo was fitted. The same plates were also fitted into the chainset.
